Cultural Bridge
By enabling new and existing connections, Cultural Bridge supports a growing network of organisations committed to sharing expertise and skills, exchanging ideas and collaborating on artistic practices and projects that explore themes and issues faced by communities across both countries. Through co-investment from Arts Council England, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, British Council, Creative Scotland, Fonds Soziokultur, Wales Arts International/Arts Council of Wales, and the Goethe-Institut London, Cultural Bridge has so far supported 49 partnerships through 62 awards, across four rounds of funding since its pilot year in 2021.
From June 2021 to December 2024, I was one of three team members working within the Goethe-Institut London’s Communications team. As Online Editor, I contributed to the digital production and delivery of the Cultural Bridge programme. My responsibilities included attending partner meetings to coordinate project timelines, preparing and maintaining the Goethe-Institut UK’s Cultural Bridge webpage with our custom-built CMS, and editing and publishing promotional multimedia content across all digital platforms. Since the Goethe-Institut UK’s website is available in English and German, translating English-language copy into German was also a central component of my web production work.
