In May 2025, I led the production of an exclusive editorial shoot and interview with electronic music artist BIIA (real name Beatriz Soares) for ΠMagazine, a Berlin-based independent fashion magazine, where I have worked as a Senior Editor since November 2019.

For this Œditorial, we envisioned Soares as an Enchanted Moura, a mythical guardian from Iberian folklore, drawing on the legend’s aura of mystery, melancholy, and transformation. The concept reflected both her Portuguese roots and the shape-shifting sensibility of her music, situating her within settings that echoed Moura’s folkloric haunts, caves, water, and thresholds between light and shadow, whilst styling emphasised her duality, at once ethereal and grounded, mystical yet modern.

About the project

As head of production, my duties encompassed hiring and leading a team of creatives, coordinating brainstorming sessions and communications, managing the budget, and handling logistics such as organising the studio space, photography equipment, and catering, preparing call sheets, overseeing image editing in Adobe Photoshop, and conducting the interview with Soares.

Additionally, I managed copyright contracts, invoices, and media pack distribution before publishing the final digital content via WordPress and across Œ Magazine’s social media channels. You can find the full credits list below the images.
