Cultural Bridge

About the project
By enabling new and existing connections, Cultural Bridge supports a growing network of organisations committed to sharing expertise and skills, exchanging ideas and collaborating on artistic practices and projects that explore themes and issues faced by communities across both countries.
Through co-investment from Arts Council England, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, British Council, Creative Scotland, Fonds Soziokultur, Goethe-Institut London and Wales Arts International / Arts Council of Wales, Cultural Bridge has so far supported 49 partnerships through 62 awards, across four rounds of funding since its pilot year in 2021.
Project responsibilities:
Communications and web production
As the manager of the Goethe-Institut UKβs website and social media channels, I represented the Goethe-Institutβs Communications Team in internal and external meetings for Cultural Bridge programmes.
During the running of each residency, I worked closely with partner organisations to develop, run and evaluate the success of digital marketing strategies I helped curate. Our core aims were to reach diverse artists, drive digital engagement, generate a positive PR image and attract external investors.
My web and editorial production responsibilities spanned utilising CMS to build and publish the CROWD website, documenting the work of residency artists on our digital platforms, proofreading and editing copy, translating texts from English to German, preparing transcripts for video materials and updating the website with current information regarding artist applications and project partners.
As for social media and communications, my tasks spanned storing and sharing digital media packs and posting schedules internally, launching and invoicing paid social media advertisements to promote artist open calls, and uploading residency recap Reels and short films on YouTube, Facebook, X and Instagram.
You can find the digital marketing materials I co-produced and published below.
